RBB10-2.0 Series Buck-Boost Converter

RECOM Power's RBB10 series is a 4 A non-isolated buck/boost regulator module that is able to accept input voltages that are higher, equal, or lower than the trimmed output voltage, as well as transition from buck to boost mode smoothly without any interruptions to the output voltage.

The RBB10 is a low-profile (only 3.75 mm), DOSA-compatible converter with six-sided shielding in an LGA package. This facilitates optimal EMC performance and provides excellent thermal management allowing the converter to operate at full load in ambient temperatures as high as 85°C without forced air cooling. All these features make this module an ideal solution for USB voltage regenerator, boosting 3.3 V to 5 V, as well as regulation for supercapacitor and Li-Ion battery applications.
