Raltron's surface-mount and through-hole OCXOs provide superior temperature stability, phase noise, and aging performance
Raltron’s OX family of OCXOs feature excellent levels of frequency stability over wide temperature ranges which are several orders of magnitude superior to those displayed by traditional clock oscillators or TCXOs. Since OCXOs have higher power consumption than TCXOs or standard crystal oscillators, they are not very suitable for battery applications. However, based on their superior frequency stability and very good aging and phase noise performance, OCXOs are typically used as precise signal references in a fast-growing number of applications such as wireless infrastructure, transmission, networking, precision instrumentation, broadcasting, electronic trading, utility metering infrastructure applications, and IoT technologies.
