VL3 UPC Ultra-Compact PC

Phoenix Contact's VL3 UPC is a family of palm-sized industrial box PCs with 6th-generation embedded Intel® Atom® processors and excellent connectivity options ideal for IIoT applications like edge computing or decentralized data collection and processing.

The VL3 UPCs are configurable to match the requirements of each application, with processors, RAM, onboard system storage, and expansion options that offer excellent connectivity in this product class. The VL3 UPC can be configured to include two COM ports and WLAN without impacting the system size of 100 mm x 50 mm x 100 mm. Customers can also opt for additional Ethernet ports. All VL3 systems are designed for 24/7 operation in demanding industrial environments.

The compact VL3 UPC industrial box PC can be used in a wide range of applications, from automation to IIoT, including edge fog computing and distributed data collection. It can be configured with CPU, memory, storage, and other options selected by the customer. The VL3 UPC can be either DIN rail or wall mounted. The ultra-compact chassis of 10 cm square by 5 cm high fits even in limited spaces. High reliability is achieved by adopting a fanless structure and SSD storage.
