With an output of 15.4 W and 48 VDC, the power injector is fully compliant to the IEEE802.3af standard. Intended applications for the single port midspan include IP phones, security cameras, wireless access points, Bluetooth access points, and IP print servers. The injector is easily incorporated into existing networks taking data from a network switch or other LAN outlet and power from an AC source and combining them over a single Ethernet cable to power a device up to 100 meters away. “Plug and Play” technology means that there are no software or firmware requirements for this to operate and installation is quick and easy.
