RF4 Series High-Frequency 5G Connectors

Panasonic’s RF4 series high-frequency connectors are an ultra-small 0.35 mm pitch socket and header connector solution for high-frequency applications. These connectors have six general signal pins and two RF signal pins capable of transmitting 15 GHz frequency signals. They feature a seamless metal shield to improve EMI/EMS characteristics. Additionally, shielding between the general signal and RF pins further improves the RF performance.

The RF4 series high-frequency 5G connectors maintain Panasonic’s unique tough contact construction consisting of bellowed contacts for shock and vibration resistance and a v-notch construction shape that maintains two points of contact between the socket and header pins. The robust structure and high-frequency characteristics make the RF4 series connectors ideal for antenna modules and communication electronics such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and routers.
