IP55 Rated AC Fans
IP55-rated AC fans are designed for dusty or moist environments, enabling their use in several applications including certain HVAC equipment, blowers, medical, industrial machinery, wind power devices, and remote antenna installations. The IP55-rating indicates protection from dust and water-jet spray from all directions.

Salt-Fog Rated AC Fans
Tested in tough environmental conditions, these AC fans are subjected to salt fog, salt spray, temperature changes, and humidity. Compliant with International Standards on salt spray tests, including GR487, these Salt-Fog Rated fans carry at a minimum an IP55 rating, meet or exceed accelerated salt spray and salt fog testing, and have an L10 life span of 65,000 hours or more.

IP56 Rated AC Fans
IP56-rated AC fans protect from dust ingress where no harmful dust particles are permitted through the system. They are also protected from strong jets of water making them useful for marine, HVAC, and medical applications.

All-Metal AC Fans
Orion Fans all-metal AC fans are IP55 or IP56 rated and designed for applications with temperature extremes, dirt, oil, and moisture. These all-metal fans feature a dual ball-bearing design, impedance and thermal-protected motors, aluminum die-cast frames, and metal alloy impellers for longer lifespans of up to 50,000 hours.
Available with lead wire or terminal connections, these all-metal fans have an operating temperature range of -30°C to 80°C and produce airflows of 18 CFM to 1000 CFM.

IP68 Rated AC & DC Fans
IP68-rated AC & DC fans are designed for zero-tolerance dust or moisture environments. Common applications include refrigeration, HVAC, industrial enclosures, automotive/transportation, and marine. The IP68 rating offers full protection from dust and moisture and allows the fan to be submerged in water up to 3 meters.

IP69K Rated AC & DC Fans
IP69K-rated AC and DC fans are designed for applications where water washdowns are common and necessary. Typically used in Food and Beverage and Transportation, the IP69 rating allows the product to be subjected to high-temperature and high-pressure washdowns. The K on the rating denotes the specific ability for use in transportation vehicles.
