ema:Play Development Kit for OptConnect ema™

OptConnect's ema:Play includes everything customers need to test and evaluate OptConnect ema as they bring their IoT ideas to life. ema is a pre-certified LTE category 4 cellular modem with a 20-pin interface that includes onboard intelligence that provides all the monitoring, manageability, security, reporting, certifications, and autonomous self-healing of the connect.

ema:Play supports multiple design and communication architectures for interfacing with ema and also includes built-in sensors like temperature/humidity and light detection for enabling simple IoT demonstrations.

All of the necessary software support and documentation is included with ema:Play. Sample code and application notes along with documentation has been carefully written in order to better support designers and engineers in their evaluation and testing.

Without an evaluation kit like ema:Play, customers can quickly get stuck with the burden and cost associated with creating custom hardware to accept and use ema prior to fully understanding its capabilities. The design of ema:Play has been cost and component availability optimized and is intended as a reference design and launching pad for custom designs using ema to get to production quickly and efficiently.
