CAT24C512 512 Kb EEPROM with I²C Interface

The onsemi CAT24C512 is a high-performance EEPROM serial 512 Kb I²C memory device designed to meet the demands of modern electronic applications. Internally organized as 65,536 words of 8 bits each, this EEPROM features a 128 byte page write buffer and supports standard (100 kHz), fast (400 kHz), and fast-plus (1 MHz) I²C protocols. The device includes hardware write protection, which can be activated by taking the WP pin high, ensuring the entire memory is safeguarded against unintended write operations. Additionally, the CAT24C512 is equipped with on-chip error correction code (ECC), making it suitable for high-reliability applications. With a wide operating voltage range of 1.8 V to 5.5 V and low power consumption, this EEPROM is ideal for a variety of industrial and consumer applications.
