Omron introduces its HVC-P device with 10 algorithms of the OKAO™ Vision image sensing technology
Omron is pleased to announce the release of the Human Vision Components (HVC) module. The HVC integrates Omron’s best in class image sensing technology (OKAO Vision) along with a camera, processor, and external interface onto a single PCB, sized at 60 mm x 40 mm. The end result is an image sensor unlike anything else on the market. HVC effectively acts like a sensor and uses a UART interface to provide data about the person or people that it sees. Capturing such data can benefit numerous applications where people are interacting with machines.
