Based on Omron’s D2FC switch platform, the D2FP still has a crisp click feeling associated with electromechanical switches. The optical technology in this switch has no signal bounce or chatter since there are no contacts bouncing during switching. Low power consumption on the D2FP results in longer battery life on mice for battery-operated models.
