D Series Heatsink

Ohmite introduces two new styles for their D series of heatsinks. The new designs include flat areas for "Pick and Place" board assembly. Ohmite thermal design engineers designed the parts so that the surface area did not suffer by adding fins on the other side of the flats. Customers enjoy great thermal characteristics and the added benefit of "Pick and Place" assembly.

• Three-times larger surface area, increasing thermal performance up to 300% over aluminum stamped heat sinks currently on the market
• Light-weight aluminum construction allows faster pick and place assembly, reducing the manufacturing cycle time
• Radius mounted "rollers" are designed for maximizing heat transfer from the component and avoiding the thermal "bottle-neck" seen in stamped and staked heatsinks
