RW61x Wi-Fi 6 Tri-Radio Wireless MCU

Introducing the world's first highly integrated and secure Tri-Radio wireless MCU, the RW61x supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth LE, and 802.15.4 (Thread, Zigbee) along with Matter over Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and Thread. The RW61x provides a single-chip MCU + Wi-Fi/Bluetooth solution with its application-dedicated 260 MHz Cortex-M33 core, 160 MHz Cortex-M3 Wi-Fi CPU, and 128 MHz Cortex-M3 NarrowBand CPU. This wireless MCU also includes rich peripherals, advanced security, and software enablement from NXP's MCUXpresso developer experience.

The IW612/IW611 is a high-performance Wi-Fi 6 Tri-Radio solution. This device features a 1x1 dual-band 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 radio subsystem, providing high throughput and bandwidth, improved network efficiency, extended range, and lower latency over previous Wi-Fi generations. The Bluetooth/Bluetooth LE and 802.15.4 radio subsystem enables a high-speed data rate of 2 Mbit/s, long range, extended advertising, and LE audio as well as Thread, Zigbee and Matter support. Host interfaces include SDIO 3.0 for Wi-Fi, UART for Bluetooth/BLE, and SPI for 802.15.4.

The IW610 offers a 1x1 20 MHz Wi-Fi 6 subsystem with dual-band or single-band options, bringing robust connectivity and extended range. Bluetooth LE supports high-speed data rates of up to 2 Mbit/s and offers long-range and extended advertising while the 802.15.4 capability enables Thread and Zigbee.
