Image of Nexperia ESD Protection Diodes for 48 V EV Communications Networks Nexperia ESD diodes are designed to protect 48 V automotive data communications networks against the destructive effects of electrostatic discharge (ESD) events. This portfolio of six robust AEC-Q101-qualified devices covers the required higher reverse working maximum voltage (VRWM) for increasingly common 48 V board nets. This saves PCB space and system cost while maintaining signal integrity even at higher data rates.

  • Reverse stand-off voltage: VRWM = 54 V, 60 V, and 72 V
  • Low capacitance: CD = 3.4 pF and 6 pF
  • ESD protection up to 30 kV (contact discharge; C = 150 pF, R = 330 Ω)
  • ISO 7637-2 pulse 3a/3b = -300 V/+300 V
  • ISO 7637-2 pulse 2a = +90 V, +95 V, and +100 V
  • Qualified according to AEC-Q101 and recommended for use in automotive applications
