On-Metal UHF RAIN RFID Tag
Murata's IC tag for surgical instruments uses UHF band RFID which allows multiple tags to be read from a distance
Murata's LXTBKZMCMG-010 on-metal UHF RAIN RFID tag utilizes the metal surface as a booster antenna to increase the overall read range. Along with its durable construction and wide temperature range (-40°C to +85°C), it is designed to operate over the entire UHF frequency band. The LXTBKZMCMG-010 measures only 6.0 mm x 2.0 mm x 2.3 mm, making it a global solution for tracking and tracing metal items. The innovative RFID tag achieves high-performance when attached to metal surfaces.
This RFID IC tag for surgical instruments makes use of UHF band RFID, which allows multiple tags to be read all together from a distance. Since the tags are small and can be attached to metal surfaces, they can be used for applications other than on surgical instruments.
