NXFT Series Thermo-String Thermistors

Murata Electronics' Thermo-String long lead thermistor NXFT series for monitoring the temperature of areas that are hard to reach with surface-mount thermistors is now available. Hot spots may not always be on the PCB or motherboard, so Thermo-String's long leads of up to 150 mm allow the head of the thermistor to be situated as close to the problem area as possible, even in narrow or small locations.

The NXFT series of Thermo-String thermistors includes Murata's industry-leading NCP15-series NTC (negative temperature coefficient) EIA 0402 size chip thermistor in its head. This series has 33 different resistance values available for maximum design flexibility. The NXFT series of Thermo-String thermistors operate in the temperature range -40°C to +125°C and are RoHS compliant and halogen free. Thermo-String thermistors also provide flexibility benefits to battery cell, PC, power tool, power supply, measurement equipment, heating system, and sensor product makers.
