Image of Murata Electronics' Common Mode Chokes for Automotive Signal Lines Murata's common mode choke coils (CMCC) are filters that reduce common mode noise that is problematic in automotive differential transmission signal lines such as CAN, CAN-FD, 100Base-T1, 1000Base-T1, SerDes, A2B®, and Multi-Gig. They are ideal for suppressing common mode noise with frequencies ranging from several megahertz to several hundred megahertz with no adverse effect on the signals (upper cut-off frequency). Utilizing Murata's unique ceramic and ferrite materials packaging technology, Murata is able to offer common mode choke coils in a variety of sizes, impedances, voltages, and current ratings. Murata common mode choke coils are AEC-Q200 rated and are offered in EIA sizes 0805 to 1812, with current ratings up to 500 mA, and with operating temperatures from -40°C up to +125°C.
