Molex's applicators offer a quick setup time and mechanical or pneumatic feed
Molex's FA2 crimp applicators offer pneumatic or mechanical feed making it easier for users to get the job done. Using the proper interconnect manufacturer’s tooling is essential to meet many of the industry standards and to maintain the connector manufacturer’s product warranty. Molex’s applicators process in most industry-standard wire processors in the marketplace. For tools in this category, production rates of up to 3,000 terminations per hour for discrete wire are not uncommon depending on the application.

- Designed to industry-standard mounting and 135.80 mm (5.346 in) shut height
- Quick setup time
- Crimp height, track, and feed adjustments can be set without removing the applicator from the press
- Fine adjustment allows users to achieve target with little effort by adjusting in increments of 0.015 mm (0.0006 in) for conductor crimp height and 0.025 mm (0.001 in) for insulation height
- Fine adjustment of the bend is achieved using the bend control adjust dial
- Independent adjustment rings allow users to quickly adjust the conductor or insulation crimp height without affecting each other
- Directly adapts to most automatic wire processing machines
