Molex's in-vehicle smart charger with backlight has dual ports for charging 3.0 A USB-C and 2.4 A USB-A devices. Molex USB smart-charge modules lead the market by combining automotive-grade durability and off-the-shelf availability. This pre-assembled active USB charger with PCB routing and mechanical enclosure design saves costs in engineering time and tooling and is compliant with battery charging (BC) 1.2 standards. It can charge up to 5 VDC / 1.5 A with BC 1.2-compliant devices.
