Mikroelektronika's MIKROE-5935 NFC 6 Click board is a compact add-on that features a near field communication (NFC) transceiver for contactless communication. This board features STMicroelectronics' ST25R95 NFC transceiver and specializes in frame coding and decoding across multiple standards including ISO/IEC 14443 Types A and B, ISO/IEC 15693, and FeliCa, making it adept at interacting with NFC Forum Type 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 tags. The device operates in two modes including power-saving wait-for-event (WFE) mode and active mode for immediate communication, enhancing versatility in application deployment. The MIKROE-5935 streamlines event handling and data transferring using a four-wire serial peripheral interface (SPI) for MCU communication, supporting clock frequencies of up to 2 MHz and two interrupt pins. This board is designed to work with 3.3 V and 5 V logic levels.
The NFC 6 Click is a perfect solution for developing applications that are based on NFC technology, contactless communication, payment systems, home and industrial automation, and more. The Click is fully compatible with the mikroBUS™ socket and host systems supporting the mikroBUS standard. The mikroSDK open-source libraries offer unparalleled flexibility for evaluation and customization. The groundbreaking ClickID feature enables the host system to detect and identify this add-on board seamlessly and automatically.
