PD-9001GR from Microchip Technology is a family of single port, high-power solution for remote powering of current and emerging high power applications. The PD-9501GR/SP provides surge protection functionality optimal for the installation of outdoor PDs. It complies with the IEEE 802.3at PoE standard and is backward compatible with IEEE 802.3af. It can power both existing 10/100Base-T network devices and emerging wireless 1000Base-T devices such as WiMAX and wireless IEEE 802.11n access points. The PD-9001GR product come with a variety of power cords including United States (US), Europe (EU), United Kingdom (UK), Brazil (BR), Australia (AU), and Japan (JP). Generating up to 30 W of power, the PD-9001GR PoE injector enables remote power for a new range of applications including 802.11n access points, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras, and videophones.
