UHP-1500 Series 1500 W Fanless Conduction-Cooled Power Supply

MEAN WELL launches its fanless solution UHP series with the higher power coverage 1500 W UHP-1500. The unique fanless design absorbs dust and reduces the frequency and cost of device maintenance, helping to avoid fan failures. Fanless design can also solve fan noise level issues, thus making the UHP-1500 suitable for environments requiring quiet operation.

UHP-1500 is the first conduction-cooled series equipped with built-in PMBus or CANBus communication function options to choose from. The communication protocols allow the power supply to be seamlessly integrated into high-end systems such as data centers, network equipment, and charging systems. The power supply is also equipped with programmable voltage and current (PV/PC) functions, which allows the trimming of output voltage between 50% to 120% and current between 20% to 100% by an external DC control signal. The multitude of control protocols and functions make the UHP-1500 suitable for powering all types of loads, including burn-in equipment, charging systems, laser apparatus, and many others.

Other key features of the UHP-1500 include compliance to the EN60335-1 household safety standard (which is uncommon for such a high-wattage standard power supply); wide operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C; and low-profile design of only 41 mm high. These features make the UHP-1500 a power solution well-suited for a variety of industries.
