Rated 4.5 to 5.5 V_DC, this alarm emits an 85 dB at 10 cm continuous sound which contains a fundamental frequency of 975 Hz and four harmonic frequencies as required by IEC60601-1-8. Part number MSS5M0 has a compact 23 mm x 13 mm package size and is PC board mountable with 2 pc pins. Applications include any medical device looking to meet the requirements of IEC60601-1-8 with a small board mount package.
