IEC60601-1-8 Medical Alarm Series
Mallory Sonalert's medical alarm series is in compliance with IEC60601-1-8, a comprehensive international standard that specifies basic safety, essential performance requirements, and tests for alarm systems in medical equipment
Mallory Sonalert has added 42 new models to the IEC60601-1-8 medical alarm series, including the first-ever models with piezoelectric transducers. This series offers low current and 90 dB @ 10 cm for use in medical applications that are battery powered, or use supercapacitors for power-failure situations. The new speaker models offer 100 dB @ 10 cm (85 dB @ 2 ft) for use in medical applications that have higher ambient background noise, such as operating rooms.
The melody-tone models are now available in all package sizes. Parts are available in PC-pin and flange-mount packages for 5 VDC and 12 VDC operating voltages.
