IS31SE5120A/IS32SE5120A Capacitive Touch Controllers with Active Proximity

Lumissil's IS31SE5120A and IS32SE5120A ultra-low-power, 24-channel capacitive touch controllers allow sleep mode (under 10 µA) and use auto-detection for wakeup. They also provide a shield output to increase moisture immunity. The built-in hardware monitor and calibration feature for the environment is to prevent false triggers. A host MCU is required to communicate with them. An on-chip I²C secondary controller with 400 kHz capability serves as the communication port for the host MCU. An interrupt, INT, can be configured and generated when a touch trigger event occurs. The trigger event can be configured by setting the interrupt register. These controllers can support proximity sensing.

The IS31SE5120A is available in a QFN-32 package and operates from 2.3 V to 5.5 V over a -40°C to +105°C temperature range. The IS32SE5120A is available in a WQFN-32 package and operates from 2.3 V to 5.5 V over a -40°C to +125°C temperature range.
