HMSR-SMS Demonstration Boards

The HMSR series from LEM USA is a line of integrated current sensors, engineered to deliver the benefits of a current sensor IC with the added advantage of a unique isolation design that ensures exceptional robustness. Housed in a compact SO16 surface-mount package with a height of just 6 mm, HMSR sensors are suited for the power electronics industry. Their SMD-compatible form factor enables easy automatic assembly and space-saving integration, making them an ideal solution for a range of applications, including photovoltaic systems, white goods, window shutters, air conditioning units, and high-frequency drive systems.

Built with safety and performance in mind, the HMSR series guarantees 4.95 kV insulation and has been tested up to 5.66 kV in laboratory conditions. Its innovative pre-mold structure isolates the primary conductor, while the specialized footprint design ensures 8 mm creepage and clearance distances on the PCB. Inside, an integrated microcore delivers strong immunity to external magnetic fields and ensures high measurement accuracy.
