Steward™ 2220V801R-10 Ferrite Chip Bead
Laird's ferrite chip bead filters differential mode noise affecting densely packed components amid extremely concentrated electronic designs
Laird's Steward 2220V801R-10 high-bias retention ferrite chip bead (800 Ω impedance at 100 MHz frequency) effectively filters differential mode noise affecting densely packed components amid extremely concentrated electronic designs. These lightweight, compact, surface-mount ferrite beads provide consistent, reliable, and low-cost filtering of disruptive EMI in the -40°C to +125°C operating temperature range. The small size of the bead (3.45 mm height) enables their use within a few millimeters of a high-waste energy source.
This solution cleans noise from either signal lines or power line circuits by absorbing these high-frequency noises and transforming them into heat, thus filtering out the unwanted signal. The bead exhibits excellent performance under power loads. Constructed from ultra-thin mixtures of iron, nickel, and zinc oxides, the HR2220V801R-10 provides superb EMI reduction while remaining open to normal circuit operation.
- Lightweight, compact, low-profile design enables applications within dense designs
