This tester is dustproof and waterproof with an IP67 rating. The 9.8 foot (3 m) drop protection provides durability. A bright green LED illuminates to indicate the tester is powered on. It changes to bright red and sounds an audible tone when voltage is detected. This voltage tester has a CAT IV 1000 V safety rating. A premium test kit (NCVT1XTKIT) with a non-contact voltage tester and a GFCI receptacle tester is also available.
