5.8 mm Battery Retainer

Keystone’s battery retainers are manufactured from phosphor bronze with tin-nickel plating and engineered with reliable spring tension to ensure low contact resistance while firmly securing batteries within retainers. This micro battery retainer accepts all 5.8 mm diameter lithium and silver-oxide batteries from all major manufacturers and is compatible with all soldering and reflow operations (including lead-free and high-temperature) and with most vacuum and mechanical pick-and-place assembly systems. The SMT version features solder tails located outside of the retainer body to ease visual inspection of solder joints while the THM version features snap-in legs to maintain retainer security during the soldering process.
