Vybronics' BLDC brushless coin vibration motors for hi-rel/high duty cycle applications
Vybronics' BLDC brushless coin vibration motor series is recommended for applications requiring an exceptionally long lifetime/high MTBF. They should be considered for applications requiring a high duty cycle or a medical device that requires high reliability. They are not susceptible to brush oxidation/corrosion issues commonly associated with motors that have brushes. BLDC brushless coin vibration motors are more costly than brushed types since they incorporate a driver IC. Due to the motor's internal IC driver, voltage polarity must be observed when applying power.
Other specs are comparable to that of standard brushed type coin vibration motors.
The VW0525AB001D measures 5 mm in diameter and 2.5 mm thick; it is the smallest diameter motor currently on the market.
