Jacob's PERFECT cable glands made of plastic are the perfect cable entry solution for many industrial applications. The fittings are available with metric thread from M12 to M63 with Pg-thread from Pg 7 to Pg 48 and with NPT-thread from 3/8“ to 1 ¼“ in black, silver-gray, and light gray color. In Jacob's design process, they simulate the material flow within the mold to get the best results out of the material. The lamellar clamping technology, for example, uses the flexibility of the polyamide without cracking it. Every new product is tested thoroughly in Jacob's in-house laboratory. IP protection against water and dust is tested after aging the samples in the climatic chamber. Stress tests are carried out to test the low-temperature performance of the design and material. For the entire series of PERFECT cable glands, there are many different inserts available; for the installation of one or several single cables, for AS-i BUS-cable, or chamfered flat cables. Other accessories, like locknuts or sealing rings, complete the product program.
