ICM-45686/ICM-45605 6-Axis MEMS Motion Sensors

TDK InvenSense ICM-45686 and ICM-45605 ultra-high performance 6-axis MEMS motion sensors feature BalancedGyro™ (BG) technology and low power consumption. These sensors combine a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer in a compact 2.5 mm × 3 mm × 0.81 mm package. The BG technology is a gyroscope MEMS architecture enabling supreme vibration rejection and temperature stability performance.

The ICM-45686 provides a higher full-scale range of up to 4000 dps and 32 g, better temperature stability to reduce temperature-related drift, and high-performance features such as real-time clock input and 18-bit/19-bit high-resolution FIFO.

These low-power 6-axis motion sensors allow the gyroscope to be on 40% of the time. They also offer the gyroscope low power mode, enabling -200 µA of 6-axis IMU current consumption, making it a top choice for wearables, hearables, and any battery-driven IoT application.

They have a configurable host interface that supports I3C®, I²C, and SPI serial communication, triple interface [host interface +2 optical image stabilization (OIS) interfaces], up to 8 KB FIFO, and two programmable interrupts.
