E9T-MDCCP/E9T-MCS 902 MHz Wireless Window and Door Sensors

ILLUMRA'S USA made self-powered wireless window and door sensors reduces wasted energy by wirelessly providing the open or closed status

Image of ILLUMRA'S E9T-MDCCP Window and Door SensorILLUMRA’s wireless self-powered window and door sensors send a signal to a relay or HVAC setback module, letting it know that a window or door is open. The relay will then either shut the power off to the thermostat or place it in setback mode. The window sensor is self-powered, requires no wires or batteries to operate, and uses a 902 MHz EnOcean protocol. A built-in photocell uses natural and artificial light to recharge the window-door sensor and allows the signal to be sent without batteries or any wiring. Just a couple of hours of indirect light per week can keep this product operating. The USA made wireless and battery-less window and door sensors reduce energy consumtion by up to 80% in hotel rooms, multi-unit living facilities, Airbnb homes, condos, dorm rooms, barracks, open window offices, and anywhere else that uses AC. A battery backup model E9T-MCS is available if safety or extended dark areas are present.

The ILLUMRA window and door sensor can be used in other applications, such as automatic door sensing, commercial coolers, and alarm systems. When a showroom, gallery, store, or any other building has automatic doors that are open for an extended period, the sensors can send a signal to any number of relays for different applications. The ILLUMRA no-wire and no-battery wireless window and door sensors are small and can send a signal up to 100 feet. Additional advantages of ILLUMRA's wireless self-powered window and door sensors include a magnetic reed switch, an integrated solar cell, unlimited relay reception of the signal (hundreds of relays can receive a signal from one window and door sensor), Buy American Act (BAA) compliance, installation with only double-sided tape (no screws are required, though they are available), and the ability to work in a wide variety of applications. Linking window and door sensors with the relays takes only a few seconds. ILLUMRA can pre-link the window and door sensors, offering customers a quick and simple installation solution.

The most common use of the ILLUMRA self-powered wireless window and door sensors are hotel rooms, large showrooms, commercial coolers (grocery store, food storage, and medical facilities), permanent living facilities (such as dorms, condos, and Airbnbs), and as one piece of an alarm system. ILLUMRA designs and manufactures self-powered wireless window and door sensors in Lindon, Utah, and exceeds typical industry standards by testing 100% of all products before sending them to customers.
