REACH and RoHS Compliant Chrome Wire Form Fan Guards

GardTec Incorporated's complete family of wire form fan guards is now fully compliant with the most current REACH and RoHS standards. GardTec's upgraded bright nickel chrome plating processes places it in the unique position to meet worldwide customer demands to compete in global markets and comply with various legal requirements involving multiple materials management legislations. In September 2017, REACH enacted requirements eliminating Cr6 (hexavalent chromium), which placed plating facility workers in direct contact with cancer-causing agents, from the actual plating process. Previous compliance standards allowed for finished products to undertake specific testing to confirm the negative presence of Cr6, but that approach is no longer REACH compliant. GardTec plated products now follow Cr3, which is 100% compliant to current standards, as well as completely safe both for personal contact and the environment. This change ensures GardTec customers of being REACH and RoHS compliant to the most current industry standards.
