Image of Fair-Rite’s Coated ToroidsFair-Rite’s line of coated toroidal cores provides a higher reliability solution to conventional bare toroids. These cores are shielded by either a parylene or plastic conformal coating. This coating helps shield the core from environmental factors, thus preserving the intended function of the core. This coating gives an extra level of resiliency from wire nicks while winding and provides an excellent dielectric barrier. The toroidal cores are available in a wide range of high-performing material grades‎.
