SG-8003 Series Programmable Oscillators
Epson's SG-8003 series programmable oscillators enable rapid prototyping
In today's fast-paced development environment, programmable oscillators provide flexibility for board-level designs. With 24-hour delivery, programmable oscillators are ideal for supporting standard and non-standard frequencies and quick frequency experiments for rapid prototyping.
Epson was the very first company to introduce programmable oscillator technology and has long been a DigiKey partner. Because of this history, DigiKey has extensive stock and programming equipment to support 24-hour lead time for both prototypes and pre-production runs. Prototypes can easily be converted to pin-compatible Epson fixed-frequency oscillators for production volumes.
Epson's SG-8003 provides an LVCMOS output, can be programmed from 1 MHz to 166 MHz, is available in industry-standard packages from 2.5 mm x 2.0 mm to 5 mm x 7 mm, and can operate from 1.8 V, 2.5 V, and 3.3 V power supplies. Being a 3rd generation programmable oscillator, Epson's SG-8003 dissipates one half the power of previous products.
Epson's SG-8003 programmable oscillator can be ordered with an accuracy of ±50 ppm or ±100 ppm over a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C or -40°C to +85°C.
