This highly responsive, fully sealed NTC thermistor is engineered to provide fast and precise temperature control, particularly for oil-cooled systems. Oil cooling is anticipated to become the dominant temperature management method in the electric drivetrain of EVs. Leveraging TDK's expertise in developing tailored temperature sensor solutions, the ITS offers a flexible, customizable design adaptable to various installation positions, cooling fluids, and mounting configurations.

The sensor combines a lightweight design (<11 g) with a maintained accuracy of below ±1 K over the entire temperature range of -40°C to +150°C for enhanced thermal management efficiency. The sensor is highly resistant to automatic transmission fluid (ATF) oil, has a customizable resistance-temperature (RT) curve, and is available in various mounting configurations. The fully sealed design allows the ITS to perform reliably even in direct immersion in different cooling fluids.
