B32370/B32371/B32373/B32374 EPCOS Single-Phase Power Capacitors

TDK Corporation's B32370, B32371, B32373, and B32374 capacitors are single-phase power capacitors for industrial electronics. The series are designed for rated AC voltages of between 250 V_RMS and 1000 V_RMS, cover a capacitance range of 5 µF to 600 µF, and feature a maximum current capability of between 15 A and 60 A, depending on the type. The can diameter ranges from 50 mm to 136 mm with heights from 64 mm to 245 mm. They offer high reliability and long service life of 100,000 hours. The synthetic resin-filled and PCB-free capacitors are designed for a continuous operating temperature of +70°C. They comply with IEC 61071-1 and have UL approval.

The B32370, B32371, B32373, and B32374 capacitors are available with three terminations: M6 to M10 screw terminals, plug-in, or clamp. For secure fixation and simultaneous grounding, these EPCOS capacitors have threaded studs on the base of the can. The capacitors are self-healing and have an internal overpressure disconnector.

Typical applications of these power capacitors are filters in UPS systems, output filter circuits in frequency converters, and inverters for photovoltaic installations and wind power plants.
