Image of EPC EPC9196 3-Phase Motor Drive Inverter Evaluation Board The EPC9196 from EPC is a high-efficiency, compact 3-phase motor drive inverter evaluation board featuring the EPC2304, a 200 V, 5.0 mΩ enhancement-mode GaN FET. Designed to operate from battery inputs up to 150 V, the EPC9196 delivers up to 35 A peak (25 A_RMS) output current and supports switching frequencies up to 150 kHz, making it ideal for motor control in applications such as robotic joints, AGV steering systems, drones, and other medium-voltage motion platforms.

This GaN-based reference design is fully equipped with critical functionality, including gate drivers, housekeeping power supplies, temperature and voltage monitoring, and current sensing. It is compatible with a variety of popular control boards, enabling fast prototyping and evaluation.
