Image of Efinix's Trion® T20Q100F3 and T13Q100F3 DevicesEfinix's Trion T20Q100F3 and T13Q100F3 FPGAs are I/O flexible, low-power FPGAs with a disruptive core Quantum® architecture. These devices are perfect for industrial, communications, consumer, and IoT applications that need flexible IO levels at 3.3 V, 2.5 V, and 1.8 V. The 100LQFP devices also minimize PCB layout complexity as they include the config flash in-package. With this integration these devices become “CPLD-like” with an auto self-configure attribute, making the overall design and PCB much easier, more intuitive, stream-lined, and simple.

The Efinix Trion T20-T13Q100F FPGAs feature the Quantum fabric wrapped with an I/O interface that enables full 3.3 V, 2.5 V, or 1.8 V capability.  The LQFP100 is easy to use in the manufacturing process with a simplified layout/via requirements for cost savings. Configuration flash is integrated with the package that simplifies design and layout, lowering the size and cost of the PCB. The integrated config flash is large enough to support two configurations and some extra flash for personal needs.

The Trion family is supported by the Efinity® Integrated Development Environment. Efinity software provides a complete tool flow from RTL design to bitstream generation, including synthesis, place-and-route, and timing analysis. The Efinity IDE is a free development tool that users can access at no cost by registering on Efinix's website and downloading the tool through their login. The Efinity development environment supports VHDL, Verilog and System Verilog entry, and the IDE works on both Linux and Windows platforms.
