Titanium Ti180 Device
Efinix's Titanium Ti180 FPGA devices feature innovative Quantum™ compute fabric with enhanced processing capability
Efinix's Titanium FPGAs are fabricated on a 16 nm process, delivering high performance with the lowest possible power and tiny physical size. With a wide range of logic element (LE) densities from 35,000 to 1 million and compatibility with Efinix's RISC-V system on chip (SoC) cores, Titanium devices help turn a tiny chip into an accelerated embedded computing system. The Quantum computing fabric in the Titanium Ti180 FPGA comprises configurable tiles, the eXchangeable Logic and Routing (XLR) cell, that optimizes routing efficiency and speed while achieving high utilization ratios. The fabric also has highly configurable 10 K embedded memory blocks and dedicated, high-speed DSP blocks. These features deliver optimum performance for various applications, from edge computing to industrial automation and video processing. The 16 nm process node gives Titanium FPGAs a small footprint with low power consumption.
The powerful I/Os of these Titanium devices allow the user to interface to processors or camera sensors with MIPI CSI-2/DSI or traditional LVDS. The high-performance fabric supports processing capability using personalized RTL algorithms or a soft RISC-V processor for a more traditional approach. Combining the two methodologies for RISC-V acceleration or custom instructions allows optimized performance, cost, and power.
Ti180 class devices feature LPDDR4-4X and 2.5G MIPI Dphy controllers for optimum performance with unrivaled power consumption.
The Ti180 is offered in a unique package size of 13 mm x 13 mm (361BGA), delivering the industry's largest logic density in such a small footprint. The three logical size devices (Ti180K, Ti120K, and Ti90K) are footprint compatible. Users can start with the larger device and move to a correctly sized device for production to optimize the cost point. Each package has different I/O attributes, including the 400BGA, a general-purpose pinout maximizing general I/Os for 3.3 V and other LVDS or single-ended signaling. The BGA361 and BGA484 have MIPI Dphy and LPDDR4-4x capability with 32-bit wide on the BGA484 and 16-bit wide data path on the BGA361. The BGA529 has only 32-bit wide LPDDR4-4x.
