AP61100/AP61102/AP61100Q Synchronous COT Buck Converters

The AP61100/AP61102/AP61100Q from Diodes Incorporated are 1 A, synchronous buck converters with a wide input voltage range of 2.3 V to 5.5 V with the AP61100Q also being AEC-Q100 grade 1 compliant. The devices fully integrate a 110 mΩ high-side power MOSFET and an 80 mΩ low-side power MOSFET to provide high-efficiency step-down DC/DC conversion. These devices can be set to operate in either Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) regardless of load or Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) with up to 89% efficiency at 5 mA light load. These buck converters are easily used by minimizing the external component count due to its adoption of Constant On-Time (COT) control to achieve fast transient response, easy loop stabilization, and low output voltage ripple. All of these devices are available in a SOT5633 package.
