XLR PRO® 900 MHz Industrial Radio Module and Kit

Digi has taken their XLR PRO industrial radio and reduced the footprint to a small module. This high-performance, industrial grade, long-range 900 MHz embedded module offers reliable wireless communications for OEM devices. This module is designed with Digi’s patented Punch2^® technology for optimize chirp spread spectrum (CSS) modulation to provide better receiver sensitivity, multipath performance, and interference rejection, all of which is an improvement over traditionally used frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) or direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) systems. Configuration of the module is performed with Digi’s free XCTU software which supports Windows, MacOS, and Linux.

The XLR PRO is ideal for "point-to-point" and "point-to-multipoint" applications with ranges of 100+ miles for rural line of site. Data rates for urban ranges of line of sight applications will start at 9.4 kb/s and go up to 3.2 Mb/s. This radio is ideal for industrial applications such as oil, gas fields, and wind farms.
