Chargebuster® Overhead Ionizers

Desco’s Chargebuster overhead ionizers are steady-state DC ionizers designed for use in ESD-protected areas. These include 700 lumen light panels that provide additional illumination to work areas to help improve visibility and productivity. They are available in two-fan, one-light, and three-fan, two-light configurations.

Features

• Three seconds or less discharge time with ±10 V offset voltage (balance)
  • Meets the required limits for ionization use in electronics manufacturing areas per ANSI/ESD S20.20 and ESD TR53
• Three-position fan speed: low, medium, and high
  • Ionization performance is consistent at all speeds and allows for use with sensitive applications, such as calibration, test, or repair procedures
• Sealed plenum airflow
  • Prevents contamination from being introduced to the workstation
• Auto-feedback system (audible and visual alarm through single tri-color LED)
  • Unit will automatically shut down and alarm if supply voltage drops
• 120/220 V_AC input voltage selectable (Please refer to the datasheet for specific instructions for verifying and resetting the voltage by qualified personnel only.)
