Image of Nidec Components MG16B Series of Compact DC Geared MotorsNidec Components' MG16B DC geared motors have planetary gears and are ideal for applications requiring high torque. The planetary gear design reduces the wear and loss of gear and enables the compact 16 mm diameter size.

These motors can be used with the paper feeder in printing machines, cash dispensing on ATMs, and vending machines. They can also be used in surveillance cameras for changing the direction, focusing, and the zoom function. Another application is electronic locks that are open using codes or electronic key or electronic key cards.
