KDS-R Round Cable Entry System

Conta-Clip’s modular system ensures quick and easy assembly in three steps. First, a reliable seal and absolute secure fit are provided by the slitted, tapered seals with a wave-cut profile which, after the cables are routed through the cable entry, are placed around the cables and then pressed into the round cable entry. Next, the separable thread and locking adapter are easily screwed together with the round frame outside the switchgear cabinet. Finally, the separable locknuts mounted on the inside of the locking elements ensure safe and secure attachment.

The round cable entry KDS-R ensures quick and secure assembly of hoses and electrical cables in switch boxes and switchgear cabinets. The seals (TPE) integrated into the cable entry also ensure an outstanding seal in accordance with IP66 on painted and rough surfaces. The two-piece thread and locking adapter KDS-RGA for versatile installation is screwed together with the round cable entry. The individual parts of the locknut KDS-GM can be snapped together quickly and easily via the dovetail guide and then mounted in the round cable entry. The tapered shape of the seal KDS-DE/KDS-DEG enables user-friendly pressing-in of the seal, reliable sealing of the gaps, and ensures strain relief working towards accordance with DIN EN 62444.
