RAFT Connectors

CLIFF Electronics’ right-angle feedthrough (RAFT) connectors are ideal for connections in wall-mounted boxes without the depth for rear entry or where access has to be from the bottom or top. These connectors reduce the space required for interconnection at the rear of rack panel systems and provide vertical connections for convenient top-to-bottom wiring, offering system integrators more flexibility. A low rear profile accommodates the tightest behind-the-panel spaces, offering system integrators more flexibility. Mount from the front or the rear with various mounting hole options.

They are available in six sizes, including RJ45 CAT5e, RJ45 CAT6, HDMI, USB 2, USB 3.1, and USB-C®. They are available in two widths to assist with product design. The standard format of the XLR connector is 26 mm × 31 mm, with a panel cut-out diameter of 24 mm and the compact DUALSLIM has dimensions of 19 mm × 35.5 mm to fit a narrow 17.15 mm × 22.86 mm panel cut-out.

Nickel, black metal, or black plastic bodies are available for the DUALSLIM version, with black plastic only for the XLR cut-out types. Mounting options include front or rear panel mounting with 2.5 mm plain, 3.2 mm plain, 3.2 mm countersunk, M3 threaded, or #4-40 UNC threaded holes.

These feedthrough connectors may be mounted on 19 inch rack panels with up to 16 standard XLR or 20 DUALSLIM connectors. Blank and pre-assembled panels are available directly.
