Low Resistance 0402 PPTC Resettable Fuse - MF-ASML/X Series

Bourns' proprietary low resistance conductive materials provide post-trip resistance values as low as 0.25 Ω and initial resistance values as low as 0.025 Ω. These low resistance values help boost the current carrying capability of the devices. The expanded MF-ASML/X model family can now achieve I_hold current ratings of 0.1 A to 0.75 A at 6 V_DC in a compact 0402 size package.

The MF-ASML/X series utilizes Bourns' innovative freeXpansion design that increases the performance of the resettable fuse with higher hold currents (I_hold), higher voltages (V_max), improved resistance stability, and smaller footprints. The primary applications for these products include wearables, Li-ion battery packs, motherboards, and portable consumer electronic I/O port protection. These devices have been designed to protect against both overcurrent and overtemperature events within the products' designated specifications.
