Image of Kyocera AVX's 85 VDC TransGuard® TVS KYOCERA AVX's 85 V_DC is a cost effective single-chip solution that provides bi-directional transient voltage protection in the on-state and excellent EMI/RFI attenuation in the off state. Equipped with sub-nanosecond turn-on time, this varistor has the ability to withstand multiple strikes and provides excellent energy and current handling capability while protecting sensitive circuits from overvoltage conditions.

The 85 V_DC series is ideal for DC-to-DC converters on hybrid electric vehicles, aftermarket automotive accessories, renewable energy modules using a 48 V BUS as well as commercial and military vehicles.
