This high-performance, non-isolated DC/DC converter is focused on providing low-voltage and high-current power conversion in a unit that can be used in multiple modes and combinations. The unit has a two-phase design that can be employed separately to create two output voltages or combined to create a single output voltage. Up to four modules can be used to create a single output of up to 440 A from one part number. The operational features include remote on/off, variable output voltage as well as overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), and overtemperature protection (OTP), with control functions being provided by either pin-strap resistors or PMBus® control for digital communications.
