Arduino's MKR WAN 1300 combines the functionality of the MKR Zero and LoRa connectivity in one powerful board
The Arduino MKR WAN 1300 is the ideal solution for makers with minimal previous experience in networking who want to design low power IoT projects. This board, based on the Atmel SAM D21 and Murata CMWX1ZZABZ LoRA module, offers a practical and cost-effective solution for adding LoRa connectivity to projects.
The MKR WAN 1300 can be powered using two 1.5 V AA or AAA batteries or an external 5 V rated power supply. The switching from one source to the other is done automatically. A good 32-bit computational power similar to the MKR ZERO board, the usual rich set of I/O interfaces, low-power LoRa communication, and the ease of use of the Arduino Software (IDE) for code development and programming make this board a great choice for emerging IoT battery-powered projects with compact form factors.
